Exactly. With Steve Holland in the role of Beanie.Reminds me of City under Pearce

We have looked clueless against half decent opposition since he got the jobResting on his Euro progress getting to the final.
We have looked clueless against any half decent opposition since then. With all the players to choose from there has to be a better output than there is currently.
Those Iranians can be deadly. Best to play it negative hope for a lucky draw or 3 then claim it was a good tournament when the inevitable giants of Croatia or the like knock us out.Bellingham is nothing like Henderson or Rice. He was class against City when he played as the furthest forward in a 3.
You can't have him as one of the 2 that needs to sit, it leaves too much space in behind and unfortunately England can't play with 1 defensive midfielder because nobody is good enough to do it.
Henderson and Rice protect the centre backs and the rest go and play football.
Foden hasn't played in a midfield 3 since he was 17, he's 22 now. Could he do it? Probably. Do you trial it in a World Cup? Probably not.
If he does play him central then it's Foden or Bellingham, not both.
Waistcoat would play him as a wing backThe boy Cole Palmer can thread his way through tight defences. He's also got an eye for goal.
This world cup is probably too early, but can anyone else see an England call for him in the near future?
