England wasting one of the most talented squads ever assembled on Southgate

.......PickFord....
Walker.Stones.Maguire.Shaw
...........Rice.....
...Foden....Bellingham
Saka....Kane...Grealish

Probably our best 11 right now.

Perhaps this is exactly why I dont follow England. Maguire in England's best 11, bloody hell he cant even get into a shit utd team.
Pickford might make the odd good save but players for a club fighting relegation.

Probably the best of a bad bunch though......and in fairness to him,he hasn't performed badly at International level, his partnership with Stones is a very good one.

Got is to them where EVERY other manager has failed.
No, other managers achieved the same or better with far less resources, Mancini for example won with a poor aging squad at the home ground of his opponents. Southgate failed alarmingly and is ruining the best generation of players that England have had for sometime. Whenever his team have faced opponents with a good manager they have lost it as clear as daylight that he isn't good enough
He should be moved to general manager type role, that he currently done very well a likable guy who ticks all the FA boxes unfortunately he's not good enough when it comes to the football. This is where a coach could step in for the international breaks away from their club role to handle the football side radical maybe but its how it use to work there wasnt a full time England manager

yeah thats all very subbjective, soame as me talking about Southgate or saying he has Maguire, Shaw etc.. They're not world clas... yada yada. The facts speak though.

Last game we won 7-0. Was you screaming and crying at our defensive playing for this one ? Or is it not every game ? Just likely when we player tougher opposition and you expect us to play all out attack and win 5-0.
A team full of the quality of players in the squad would beat most of the teams that England beat The issue is when England face opponents of similar quality who have a manager who can coach and set them up tactically we are lacking because Southgate is found wanting At the top level the manger is vital as it becomes a game on the pitch and the technical area

Partnership in the same context that we shared the last 3 titles with the dippers
