My position is pretty clear. Towards the end of last season he did enough to be considered 4th choice for 2020/2021 season. A work in progress, so to speak

However, the then said he wanted to go. All bets are off at the point - any work would only helo his progress to a direct rival so fuck him. he should not have been considered for selection from that moment on. Her certainly should not have been starting against Leicster

I think the problem THB has to overcome, is that he can knock around young players & is used to doing it but he will have to adapt to not being able to do that to adults & change his game, find another way to be as effective.

Garcia is too slow and not physically strong enough for the PL.

To me, THB was always much better defending, Garcia better passing.

So had THB been given the chance rather than playing no football for months on end & Garcia been only playing training games, decent chance the City player would now be a better player than the Barca one.

Sorry mate, I hate to have a pop at the poster rather than the opinion but you're talking out of your arse here.

The only thing that effected 'his form' is being thrown in at the deep end due to a crisis.

I don't cate how big and how talented he is, he's a teenager. It's bullying and you should lay off the kid and you know it.

I make a conscious effort to keep my opinions to myself when it comes to singling out individuals. Probably as a result of this modern day woke culture we are having the misfortune to live through.

I shall make an exception in your case though. You read comments and decide what you thought they meant. You then correct their opinions to support what you think is an acceptable “vanilla” bland stance. When confronted with well reasoned opposing views you simply restate your original skewed, warped view without engaging in the points raised.

I simply said that I understand Garcia’s wish to return to his home city but if you treat Manchester City like Barcelona finishing school, he should expect some negativity.

Don't criticise Pep normally, despite not agreeing with all his selection decisions, but I don't think Garcia from what I have seen, has deserved the game time he has received,

Not physically strong enough or quick enough to be a central defender in the PL imo.

Possibly a defensive midfield role would be more suited to him, as there would be the defenders behind to cover any mistakes.

Put it this way, so long as Barca don't try to take the piss regards his transfer fee, I am very happy to see he become a cule again.

Pep, when asked about academy kids in the past, said stuff about how hard it is to play & how they have to merit it, they don't give away free places.

Then gives away many weeks of free places to a player who hasn't done anything for City, to merit it.
