just want someone who finishes chances like that in our side. Imagine him on De Bruyne and Cancelo crosses and Ederson punts down field.
We used to score loads on the break with Sane Aguero Sterling, and we have to defenders to soak up pressure. We’ve signed plenty of players from counter attacking sides. The Bundesliga in particular is just like that stylistically. Haland is good on the ball, strong and gets into great positions and add to that is a ruthless finisher. That’s all we really need and Pep can coach the rest.
On the flip side I do think we need a player that has ability on the counter too. So many of our forwards are poor in that scenario.
I've seen pep mention it two or three times recently about us not taking out chances, hopefully he's laying a seed for the owners to show we need to spend the money on himPay them what he costs. Painfully obvious after today’s shitshow that we need a lethal finisher and he's the best available.
Agreed, I still think we lack leadership in midfield, so times we look so lightweight there in the type of game like today.Haaland would be a fantastic signing, but people need to realise games like today will happen even with him in the side.
A few things on this post.I’ve not seen enough of him tbh. The clips I have seen, they seem to play on counter and it suits him, lots of space in behind. Is he as good at making room and getting quick shots away against packed defences?
He finishes those two chances Sterling fucked up though I reckon.Haaland would be a fantastic signing, but people need to realise games like today will happen even with him in the side.
Most strikers in the PL finish those chancesHe finishes those two chances Sterling fucked up though I reckon.
A three legged dachshund would have put those away.He finishes those two chances Sterling fucked up though I reckon.
No english team continually poaches players of other clubs in england.
And possibly us and Arsenal ;)Southampton and Liverpool say "hi"
I reckon Bayern will go all out for him knowing City are intrested, even if it means they mess with there summer transfer strategy.
Lewandowski still has at least 2 more years at the top the guy is fit & smashing the goals in.
Its about City getting the deal over the line something they arnt the best at, walking away from this deal is a no no we need a top young striker 1 of Haaland or DCL dont think Mbaapa fancies us going of some posts & what is supposedly said by himself.
This sort of deal doesnt get done in July or August we surely know right now what his feelings are, with Pep not entertaining Aguero we have to have something sorted surely?
With the Messi fiasco still ongoing our attention has to be the best young English tallent on show at Villa, Liecester & Everton (Grealish, Barnes & DCL) time for a shake up even after this unbalievable run.
Music to my ears,KennyG
A no-legged one would.A three legged dachshund would have put those away.
