On the flip side I do think we need a player that has ability on the counter too. So many of our forwards are poor in that scenario.

We used to score loads on the break with Sane Aguero Sterling, and we have to defenders to soak up pressure.

Agreed, I still think we lack leadership in midfield, so times we look so lightweight there in the type of game like today.

A few things on this post.

1) This question and reasoning gets posted every few pages for some reason but the reality is that City do actually get chances in the break in nearly every game we play. What happens at present unfortunately is that Sterling or some other prick tend to run it into a blind alley or the chance falls to someone that doesn’t capitalise on the chance.

2) Watch all his goals for Dortmund posted a page back. Haaland scores every type of goal imaginable. He scored from outside the box, can score penalties, can score 1 on 1 (which no fucker seems capable of in our team) and of course, he can score tap ins (without it bobbling through his legs or blasting over the bar - again looking at you Raheem) when his pace and positional sense gain him the advantage.

He’s the most complete striker I’ve seen since Shearer was that age. He has the lot and will strengthen whichever club can buy him.

I’d love for Messi to come to City and I don’t believe the transfers are dependent on each other, but Haaland is the one I’d wank myself silly over.
 
This really needs securing. If we want to dominate & win champs league we need a world class striker. No team wins it without one if not 2. At this moment we have no real striker. Insane
 
Would love us to sign him, if we don’t hopefully he goes to Madrid, only because he would make a huge difference to both Chelsea and united.

I really hope Lukaku isn’t our second choice. Every time I see him played misses chances. When he plays with KDB for Belgium he misses chances. He’d fit right in with Sterling and Jesus in terms of profligacy.
 
I reckon Bayern will go all out for him knowing City are intrested, even if it means they mess with there summer transfer strategy.

Lewandowski still has at least 2 more years at the top the guy is fit & smashing the goals in.

Its about City getting the deal over the line something they arnt the best at, walking away from this deal is a no no we need a top young striker 1 of Haaland or DCL dont think Mbaapa fancies us going of some posts & what is supposedly said by himself.

This sort of deal doesnt get done in July or August we surely know right now what his feelings are, with Pep not entertaining Aguero we have to have something sorted surely?

With the Messi fiasco still ongoing our attention has to be the best young English tallent on show at Villa, Liecester & Everton (Grealish, Barnes & DCL) time for a shake up even after this unbalievable run.

Bayern need to replace Alaba in summer (Upamecano is set to join), plus they haven’t yet replaced Thiago. Very much doubt they will have £100m+ to also throw at Haaland this summer.
