It isn’t Haaland mate. Just trust me and it’ll help get over the pain for you when Kane signs.
It doesn't matter to me if we sign Kane or Haaland so no pain from me. It just makes me laugh that you seem certain that we wont get Haaland when its obvious you have no clue whatsoever.

Part of me hopes I’ve been wildly misinformed about Kane and it’s a smokescreen for EH.
You never know, it happened last summer with Koulibaly.
All the attention was on him and would Napoli sell etc, and then we sign Dias.

I just have a feeling Levy won't budge on the fee, so it may be worth paying that to Dortmund, for who i think, would be a better option for us long term.

I'd be ecstatic with Grealish + Kane this window, but given the choice would prefer Haaland. Reading the tea leaves it doesn't seem likely but I know fuck all so there's always a chance.

Of course Danny Ings is the real prize but unfortunately that's little more than a pipe dream.

If Haaland wanted to play for city I think it would be done by now. He would have got his agent to tell city he wants to play for us and not this use everyone to get more money
What if he wants to play for City, but also wants to maximise his salary for doing so?

Or most likely the real story is this: He is not opposed to playing for City, but maximizing his salary is his #1 priority. As it should be.

Don't care if he was a City fans as a child. That's child stuff. Now he is an adult. And his goal is to maximize the Haaland brand. If City helps achieving that goal, then sure. But Haaland comes first...

I'm good with that.

You or I have no idea what pay structure Haaland wants. What is true is all clubs have suffered financially over the last 18 months so players demanding 500k pw is not going to happen.
Your also referring to Haalands agent so what does that have to do with his character?
Correct - this ain't happening at any team he goes to.

Dias wasn't smoke screen he was an alternate option when first choice Koulibaly and 2nd choice Kounde didn't work
