Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

109 was worse than a Champions League game today. Young families everywhere - kids who can’t see sitting down, etc.

Needless to say, it was fucking flat. Unsure why you’d book that area with kids, but then I know the answer to that.

Atmosphere has never been good for games like this it was good at the start of the season because of the excitement of a new signing in Haaland if we want anything like a consistent atmosphere every week we need ultras

Disgrace of an atmosphere today. Flatter than Twiggy's profile. Welcome challenge back on here but we really don't do ourselves justice. The stadium was WAY less than half empty at 85 mins. Don't think we even strung one song together

Some kid in SS3 started a great Haaland chant. Got a few in 317/8 singing it.
Never heard it before

What can you do with a big Norwegian
What can you do with a big Norwegian
What can you do with a big Norwegian?
Can't stop him from scoring!

Erling Erling Haaland
Erling Erling Haaland
Erling Erling Haaland
Can't stop him from scoring

Sung to the tune of What shall we do with the drunken sailer.

Not heard it before and it was catchy and simple enough to take off pretty well.
did you notice the 2 blokes in 318 about 20 rows from the back ,kept trying to keep it going, pretend rowing etc.
they tried like fuck to keep it going

Guy and his dad giving it big links and doing the rowing actions etc it certainly took off. Loads singing it near me
And an ear worm even now on the train

I suppose a lot of people don't care enough to get together and organise things a bit better(Liverpool's support did it a few years back, Arsenal have done it this season). Not much you can do about it until they do. Do wish they would stay closer to full time though.
