Yep it’s basic economics. Demand to watch Aguero and Haaland is much higher than demand was to watch Gerry Creaney or Tony Cunningham and so prices go up and up and up.

Soriano et al couldn’t care less about atmosphere or local fans or lapsed fans. They pay lip service to fan engagement and go through the motions of pretending to take on board fan concerns through City Matters etc all the while keeping their eyes firmly fixed on the ONLY thing that matters to them - revenue.
