The atmosphere was pathetic yesterday. Particularly the first half where at times it was so quiet you could hear the players taking to each other from the second tier where we sit. When you consider the importance of yesterday's game and how the fans have been fired up in previous title run ins, something just doesn't seem right at the moment. There is an apathy across many fans, certainly those who sit around us.

It was fine in the south stand. Especially for an early kick off.

Nah, I’m going to sing Dzeko as my first song on Saturday.

It was great to hear the Dzeko song belted out by the South Stand. Shame we didn’t really hear, “We Love City”, that the rest of the ground would have joined in with.

We were quiet in the first half but I thought the atmosphere was pretty good in the second half.

It was the worst I've heard it for a long time Yesterday, at points I tried a couple of Come on City's just to get the usual odd looks but it doesn't get anyone remotely interested where I'm sat, from Colin Bell Level 3 where it is incredibly quiet 90% of the time, you could barely hear anything from our fans down in SS and corner of ES, you normally can even when the rest of the ground is quiet to be fair but when you can hear players clearly shouting to each other from the third you know it's quiet. For such a big game I can't understand why nobody can be arsed, can't keep defending it when we all know it is shit more than it is decent nowadays, I understand when you are stood in SS (been there done that, I go with people who can't stand all game now) and everyone around you is singing it sounds loud but it literally doesn't go any further

You'd have thought it was a nothing game. Excuses of 'it was an early kick off' or 'the away fans were quiet too' don't wash for me. We can still win the league, the team aren't quite firing on all cylinders, manager and players have openly admitted that they need our support in big games, yet folks make no more noise than they would do at home watching on TV. I'm sure it wasn't this bad in previous seasons

A bit average today but not bad.

I don’t know why so many people are so much quieter at 12.30 than they are when a game is 150 minutes later though. I think they’ve mentally told themselves that 12.30 on a Saturday afternoon is actually 8 in the morning.

I thought it was pretty good yesterday but I admit that the second tier the odd time I've been in it is poor

I watched a Newcastle fans vlog today who was in the Newcasltle end, He was showing the City crowd with about 4/5 mins to go, he could not believe how many empty seats there were around the ground also at the end of the game where you would have thought there was a mass evacuation, Pretty poor show he said, and I have to agree with him .
