Even the under-the-thumb Strictly Come Dancing fanboys stayed today.
Bloody great scenes at the end of the game. Pep was fucking buzzing!

Atmosphere was so much better second half with all the proper City songs coming out.

Miles better atmosphere around the ground second half when we sung our club name!

There are those plus about a dozen more we could sing that the stadium joins in with. And if we could make up some new proper City chants (not player ones, not United/Liverpool ones) we can add to the back catalogue.

It was the most full at 90mins that I've seen for a long time and pep obviously appreciated it going off his celebrations.

Yes absolutely loved it today. Up in SSL3 and there were plenty of gutteral roars of ‘Come on city’, ‘City’ from the heart urging the team on. Fans behaving like fans in response to events on the pitch, how football should be. Also the Blue Moon at the end was one of the loudest versions I have heard for a while.

Just picking up on comments by yourself and @Didsbury Dave last week, the first chant which really took hold round the ground started in level 3 with ‘Stand up for the champions’.

It wont necessarily make the ground the Bombanera but singing the classics, having songs which the words are identifiable makes the ground much more atmospheric.
 
Agreed was good today and with numbers staying till the end. Great atmosphere and must laugh at the foolham fans in level 3 giving it the big one when there was still an empty block between us.

As said earlier, sounded so good in ss3 with songs about city rather than individuals. Also the roof up there does help the volume so putting away fans up in the top tier could have a negative spin in terms of volume.
 
My daughters first game today. On 85 minutes she asked “why is everyone going home, it’s not over and there’s still injury time”. On 90 minutes she asked “shall we go home as well?” Of course I said no and after the penalty she was absolutely buzzing - hopefully a lesson learnt you always stay until the end!

*Not that it was too bad for early leavers today, just her observation from people around us.

Don't Look Back in Anger has always seemed to me that it has a Cityness about it (sorry, there's bound to be a far better way of expressing it). And it's one of Pep's favourite songs. Would fans sing it, or is it just for FOCs like me?
 
Fucking good today,came off thinking we'd won a cup tie,was obvious how much it meant to Pep and the players as well,with a superb lap of honour.

Just goes to show how much we can take for granted,twatting teams 5 and 6,that was a proper grind that,patience was starting to run thin a bit in the stands,but fuck me them boys have ice in their veins.

Absolutely, was a really enjoyable day that and just shows the fine line between leaving pissed off and leaving absolutely buzzing. Also loved seeing the ground pretty much full and bouncing at 90 minutes and not half empty. Loved the stand up for the champions as well when the whole ground was up applauding.
 
Was in 117 today, was fucking mental especially in the second half. All the old city chants coming out as well as a few player chants mixed in which is ok if its only a few times. Was crazy when haaland scored, and when they came round at the end the players were right in front of us whilst we sung to them. Not to many early leavers either. Noticed ederson do a brilliant knee slide when we scored. Brilliant all round. Top support today, blues. CTID

I’ve always thought that ‘He Ain’t Heavy He’s My Brother’ by The Hollies should be our main club song that we sing pre-game/post-game.

A miles better and more emotive and bonding song than Blue Moon.

Not sure the atmosphere can be called electric when at several points today Fulham fans were sarcastically shushing.

South stand were too busy clap clap clapping with their Follow follow follow from the first minute but luckily the rest of the ground did the business ;-)

That was mainly in the first half where the atmosphere was shit.

But Fulham were a bit weird with that today.

We sang Blue Moon in the second half, it went round the ground, and as soon as it ended and it went quiet the Fulham fans were straight in there with a big ‘SSSSHHHHHHHH’. We’d literally just had a stadium-wide song the Cockney weirdos.
