Etihad Atmosphere - 2022/23

It doesn't have to be a massive home end. Just fill it with City fans who want to sing, and who want to create an atmosphere.

It will never be the yellow wall, but the look on Haaland's face as he walked off and took the applause said everything.

Good atmosphere today, especially in the 2nd half. At 0-2 down the atmosphere was flat, as expected
.
But once the 1st goal went in in the 2nd half, and the other goals followed, it was a blast and a great atmosphere.

But we could do with more new chants.

Only brought about half their allocation,and then only sang after they scored both goals.
Other than that,not a peep out of the Cockney wankers.

And our support will never be acknowledged - 50K + for years but we get slated for a mid week league cup game v Chester or whatever..i do think though the early leavers have created this reputation - we have had many games where people were leaving 15 mins before the end! As they say nowadays the optics don't look good. However when it matters (Villa last game) somehow the traffic issues didn't matter!!! To stop this we are giving teams a 2 goal lead to keep fans 'interested' and in the expensive seats until the end..
 
Are all teams trying to create “Ultras” now with the black shirts etc? I noticed Arsenal of all clubs had around 20 grouped together for there game! All kitted out in black… extremely intimidating
 
Sounded loud on TV today before the Palace goal and once Bernardo scored. Also looked very full. Attendance definetely gone up since the start of last season, I remember empty seats were scattered for Norwich and Arsenal. Might be demand to see Haaland ey

Find it bizarre that you can't wait 3 minutes to clap the boys off after that 2nd half performance. And these are often the same fans shouting for 'more effort' from the players during the game. It works both ways.

There was a couple who'd come from Brazil to watch us today on our row in SS3, first ever game and even they fucked off on 80 mins.
