I think there must be a problem if Pep if lambasting our atmosphere, having managed at the Nou Camp, where you can literally hear a pin drop for most of the game. Whether it is the long standing 'acoustics' problem, the expectation or apathy, I'm not sure.
I think there are issues that while not responsible, don't help. Those being heavy handed stewarding in 'atmospheric' areas, infrastructure from getting away from the ground is terrible, adding to the early leaver problem, and finally, the seemingly constant shuffling of the stadium and its long-term fans in order to increase hospitality and match day spend.
Obviously the higher ups want big revenue to fund the club, and the management want atmosphere - we don't seem to be able to have both, but the club IMO has some big decisions to make regarding how it treats its fanbase, and who it wants filling up the stadium.
I can't help but think that some proper, sat down discussion could do with taking place between a fan-led board and the club itself.
