Taken Today.

Laing O'Rourke portacabins are on the Collar Site(pictures 2 and 3), so I don't know what that means for the future development of the Collar site? If the portacabins stay there for the duration of the South and North stand expansions, the proposed leisure destination won't be started for another 2-3 years. :-(

The piling rig is now onsite behind the South Stand.

Apologies for the quality of the pictures. Had to use my camera phone as my battery died on my normal camera. The Weather turned as well.

Does City Tower have listed status or could we see the pig ugly monstrosity knocked down and replaced with something prettier?

Can't see it being listed. has no redeeming features at all. i go to the mecure for CPD. Nice views onto the gardens from the car park that's it.

So I guess we can expect a few earth tremors in the next few weeks if the piling rig is in place?
I think that there were about 100 recorded around Manchester when the stadium was originally built.
