I suppose a rollercoaster would have been more apt, but we've got ourselves a moonslide, whatever one of those is...

I wonder if there's going to be a roof on the South Stand next season? At some oint it will have to come off. The terracing for the 3rd tier could effectively act as a roof for tier 2

The existing roof is removed during Phase 5 this is the second close season of the project. ie May 15 to August 15

The club stated that virtually no distrubtion to any spectator during construction apart from a few diversions of course

Curently they are in Phase 1 / 2

Phase 1 – Enabling works
 Site establishment, including removal of fencing to the rear of the South Stand and removal
of 2no. trees to allow access.
 Undergrounds services relocations (from foot print of new stands subject to separate
planning application).
Phase 2 – Substructure works
 Sub structure works (piling and foundations externally and internally)

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site

why are there 2 tents on the pitch in some of the photos ? Is it for when the sheikh comes to stay or is it *td fans being sneaky and burying there shirts under the pitch

But, but... if I can't go through the normal turnstile for the next home games, then all the usual pre-match rituals will go to pot and it will affect everything!!

all turnstiles will still be in use for all the games... just may be a bit of mud about from all the work

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site

new training campus looking good!

will it all be ready for the players in August, or will they have to stay at carrington for a few more months after that?
