anyone know how high that framework at the back will be it looks at the moment around four levels from the ground, i would have thought it would have to be at least twice the height it is, anyone know?

It will be about twice what it is now..

From that pic the new South stand looks taller than the other stands, is this true or just the angle of the pic?

I'm going to the game on Wednesday, sat in 207 so will take pics

It's taller. The third tiers behind the goals will hold more than the third tiers down the sides.

Not sure how it feel about the south stand being taller than the east and west. May look a bit lob sided.

Progress on the stands has been good i am told. The real pinch point is next summer when the main contractor has about a month together on the pitch and take the roof down, it's tight to say the least. If you noticed the concrete walls at the front of the two block near the singing corner were down vs chelsea - I expect the concrete rows will be formed by the spurs game, it's great to see the progress week on week.

Can't understand why they didn't leave the end of row seats at the back of the lower tier in until the new front 3 rows were installed. Did I also notice that the concrete on the acces tunnel in the north west corner has been painted???

Hmmm... is a bit weird but unless there is a plan in the future to expand the East and West stands thus in turn making all stands the same height and making the new outer the same all the way around to "finish" the look of the stadium.... damn just the thought of it is incredible

yep. that's the long term plan apparently. Bringing capacity to around swamp numbers.
incredible.

Except our stadium won't look like a fucking meccano set.

did anyone around 107-111 not realise the concrete perimeter infront of A row has been taken down and replaced with a temp metal pole ?
Was speaking to someone yesterday whose company is involved in the front-three-rows-work - part 1 was all about moving all the cabling etc from behind the original wall to the conduit/trunking closer to the pitch. and he did say that the the old front concrete wall would be coming down in sections all through the season. and the three rows prep in front of west stand will be done later, they didn't have enough time to get that done this summer

comparing heights of end stands with side stands, from the official planning app

and the renders in the official planning app showing the sides extended alongside the ends...

Will be mad that, in 2030 or whatever! Third tiers East and West will be huge.

Did they definitely confirm that we're sticking the away fans in three tiers of the south stand? Best way to do it that IMO

I doubt GM Police will allow that. That has always been an argument they love.
