Either drainage or possibly comms between the Stadium and Academy

And finally.

PHEW! :-)

I was quite surprised and taken aback when I saw this.

Anyone?

I'm assuming the services have been rerouted and the piling has been finished, ready for work to start properly on the South Stand.

On the flip side, I did hear plenty of work going on inside the stadium.

The South Stand expansion.

This i belive is correct. much cheaper than put them into the ground.

Excellent pictures as per, and all looking good, will be nice when all the landscaping is done... for a lad who used to travel past Clayton Aniline every Sunday on our weekly pilgrimage to the Italian grandmother in Clayton I really cannot believe quite how much the are has been given a very lovely new lease of life!

My guess would be networking between the two sides of the complex, saves digging the road

Oh!

I nearly forgot.

Gary Neville and the Class of 92 are taking on Sheikh Mansour.

TBF it's pretty impressive as you drive up to it.

United must be spitting feathers. Hotel Football(Gary Neville's) is going to make some serious money, and that money would have been United's money. No wonder they tried to block it when it went in for planning.

Providing work for the people of trafford is commendable, making a profit at the expense of the rags is commendable, paying rates to Trafford Borough for the benefit of Trafford is commendable. Why would the rags want to object to that :-)

Re: Etihad Campus, Stadium Development and Collar Site (cont

Great pics as always jrb.

In the one above are the bridge access ramp and steps in what will be public areas or are they within the confines of the Academy? They look quite close to the Minihad which made me wonder.

Haven't seen this first aerial render before.

Have seen this render before, but not from an aerial view. Another new one.

But it's more than obvious what's coming on the Collar site.

Is it? I was thinking cricket when I looked at that aerial render, and I looked at where you got that from, and that confirmed it. But those are old plans surely knocked on the head by development at OT, so it must be something else which I am not seeing

It's a very old render and that is a cricket pitch you see. I'd be surprised if what we get is anywhere near that.

Looks pretty obvious we're not getting an expanded stadium from that pic!!!
