I very rarely visit this thread so I was wondering if anyone knew what City have in mind for that ASDA site?

Posher than Waitrose for sure - at cheaper prices!

Being (briefly) serious I've never heard of them before, which is a bit surpirising as my dad used to be in the grocery game. He's certainly never mentioned them. Impressive website. Looks like a really well run company at first glance. I never fail to learn something new on here. Thanks :-)

They are very localised in more rural Lancashire I think, I have 4 within 10 minutes drive around Preston. I think they are mainly Lancashire and Yorkshire. Great little supermarkets but a bit pricey for the big shop.

There's a Booths at MediaCity in Salford and, I believe, one planned for Chorlton.
Waitrose is `all fur no knickers` in comparison!
