was at the stadium on saturday for the OSC AGM and there were a couple of foolhardy gents with hard hats atop the tallest cherry picker in all the world fiddling with the cable support masts

Was at the ground today, got these two pictures to try and show the scaffolding a little clearer..

Probably a bit too big but there ya go!
 
They've lowered the etihad stadium signage on the colin/east stands and metal framework can be seen that looks to be centred to accept a new badge sign....presumably the stickyback badge signs on the glazing is temporary

Load of new tarmac area ironed out on the collar site, marked for disabled parking

I drive past the ground at night regularly, and I'm always surprised that one blue light on top of the masts is still illuminated.

I think we should see how many more years it stays lit up on it's own before replacing them all.

The obstinate twat deserves our respect!

On the glass they just have "WELCOME" and underneath it says "COLIN BELL STAND"
My mate done it,doesn't look very good.

Had a large new sticky-back badge stuck to the glass yesterday ( i recall thinking how shit it looked with the creases from the seperate glazed units visable) ...yeah the King Colin stand lettering much lower down don't look very good at all. That said the badge impregnated into the floor on the intro to the CB stand looks bril, if we had flooring to that spec around the periphery of the stadium it would look bonny

Took the badge down today and done the lettering.Ill see him later and ask what else they are doing.
Sent me a pic of Stones going in there this morning.

Looks like all three stands getting the new city badge above the Etihad sign, think the welcome and Colin Bell signs on the glass will look fine then.
