Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

It doesn’t actually give much away.

this on transport:
Proposals should offer a choice of mobility, with pedestrian and cycle provision as a priority, through the creation of excellent pedestrian and cycling connections and associated cycling amenities.
• Maintain the existing car parking provision and delivery of existing transport plans including agreed measures to protect residential amenity.

what are the existing transport plans?

Metrolink is shut 2024-2026 (at the earliest) and local parking plan means improved transport is a comfy pair of walking boots.
Fair points. I’ve just got a new pair of comfy waking shoes. If / when the Tram is closed for HS2 we will have a replacement bus service.

IMHO, We have too many mollycoddled fans who I see on Facebook Ticket pages selling their tickets to home games because it’s raining.

It doesn’t.

To me it’s more about the club finally confirming and going public on the proposals. (that have been rumoured and discussed on here) Nothing concrete will be revealed by the club yet.

The next step will be the survey and the views of the fans. Hopefully the club will take the fans views and opinions into consideration and then reveal more about the proposals.

Link to the fans survey under the screen grab.

An expanded Residents' Parking Scheme and improvements to the Metrolink are currently being implemented.

All new facilities would support Manchester's Net Zero by 2038 target, with measures being looked at to support walking and cycling links with the city centre.
"

Wait, what?
They're removing the existing Metrolink stop which will force everybody to walk or cycle into town. This Net Zero thing is easy.

TBF given some of the reasoning on here would you base a multi million pound project on opinions from Bluemoon?

:)
Do you mean to say there isn't going to be a Rovers Return selling a pint of mild with a barmaid who always knows your name, catering selling your favourite pie (and none of this vegetarian muck), an endless fleet of trams without any queues, and an atmosphere ripped from a South American derby that only sings the right songs at the right tempo that you personally don't have to participate in?!?!
