Etihad Campus, Stadium and Collar Site Development Thread

When talking of pricing the tickets right I think the whole way tickets are priced need to be looked at as it’s been the same structure since the 60’s and probably a lot earlier than that. I would look at introducing more price brackets say 22-35,35-50 and 50-65 or something like that. Then make north stand/south stand cheaper for the 22-35 age bracket and offset that by offering cheaper prices in the east and west stands for the older generations. In the upper tiers maybe make the front rows cheaper for older people and reverse the pricing the further up you go. I know it’s a minefield trying to please everyone and someone more clever then me could probably expand on the idea come up with better solutions and explain it better than me.
That would really complicate passing on tickets to friends who were in a different age bracket.

Yes.

Don’t know the exact figures.

If those level 1 seats has been kept the 3rd tier expansion of the North stand similar to the South stand expansion would have taken the new capacity to 61,000+.
The official website now states the capacity as 53,400.
However, we have exceeded that numerous times already this season. So I assume that they have added seats somewhere since the end of last season. I think they’ve added seats in the South/West corner?AF512FB1-5EE2-49C8-BA88-1E62D8387195.jpeg

I'm really intrigued as to what the hotel design will look like.
Not sutra whether to expect something 'nice and functional' but lacking architectural flair, or something with a genuine wow factor.

Those original super casino designs were pretty special.

Large home end with affordable tickets, call it the kippax course we’d fill it with singers.

We could easily have two singing ends. Lots of clubs do - arsenal and Chelsea for example

I wouldn't say either of those clubs have, listening to their home support. Saying that, a few young wannabe Mibs/Ultras have appeared at one end at Arsenal.

I’ve never understood why this sort of service hasn’t been implemented.

Something with a few designated stops that starts at Parrs Wood, or maybe beyond, takes a right at or close to Dickenson Road and then straight to the ground. Would be perfect for many, many blues.
Maybe this scenario could be played out.

They should look at our heartlands
I’d much rather catch a guaranteed scheduled bus to and from south Manchester, where most of our support is from, to the stadium than wrestle with two dangerously overcrowded trams
Etihad direct trams only currently come from rag central
Pmsl, “rag central”
Are you the Ragfinder General mate?

(I do fully agree with your point btw)

'What's not to like?' Well, for a start, last time I checked, we lived in England. Without wishing to sound too nationalistic, can we not celebrate Englishness - if there is such a thing - with a large version of a traditional English pub serving traditional beer and food (though, admittedly, that probably means curry and pizza to some)? Last thing we need is a Disneyfied German bierkeller.
A traditional English pub?

Boarded up!
