Arena and leisure management
Look at Studio City on www.melco-resorts.com That would change East Manchester.. Imagine the City Centre complaints
This is precisely what East Manchester needs to kick start it’s economy. Hope there’s a development like this to accompany the arena.

This is a big blow. I wonder if poor transport infrastructure was one of their considerations (as well as costs) for pulling out. It seems bizarre to build more sports facilities around All Saints in a sort of rival to the sports campus. This will not help with the arena proposals either.University pulls out of Etihad sports institute plan leaving town hall fuming

Plus a lot of universities are nervous about life without EU funding with less foreign students post-Brexit. They are also facing tougher competition from other universities. Getting anything done quickly is impossible in this country. Our political decision-making processes are 30 years out of date. They also mention speed of delivery. We, as fans, have found delayed proposals slightly frustrating - the MMU have decided to act independently to expedite matters. There is a lesson to be learned here by the Council and maybe the City Group too. Get things moving quicker and partners committed.
Exactly this. The number of unconditional offers is reportedly at about 38% this year in an attempt to get numbers booked onto courses as early as possible before the student can change their mind and my daughter's accommodation cost was actually reduced back in April so it looks like demand has taken a real hit.Plus a lot of universities are nervous about life without EU funding with less foreign students post-Brexit.
