Still jarring how poor those corners look at the South Stand end. Hopefully they move the big screens to that end when they start the North Stand expansion. Slightly concerned though that the structure there won’t support the weight of them with it apparently only being a temporary set up.

You can see them from almost every where in the 2nd tier and a lot of the bottom tier tbh. If you’re under the overhang or close to it then yeah you not going to be able to see them.
Yes I'm back row family stand level 1 and have no view of the screens which can be annoying at times but at least I stay dry in bad weather [emoji1787]

Can you see the corners at the other end if screens got put up there or does the overhang block off the view?

I read Spurs put up small monitors under their overhang so those who couldn’t see the big screens had access to the footage.

South Stand Disco! :-)

It's not really a disco, but it has got a DJ both.

Most of you who stand in South Stand Level 1 will know this area as the large void as you come into the stadium through the turnstiles.

Most of the time it's empty apart from when it's used on match days for a place to have a chat, a drink, to eat some food, and for the kids play football. At full time it's just an exit out of the stadium. It's also been used as a storage place at times. Last season it had a couple of beer carts located there.

Look at it now!

Don't shoot the messenger. This is what I was told during a general conversation about it. Some of it maybe correct. Some of it maybe incorrect.

The area is going to be open to the fans on level 1. I asked if it was corporate. I was told it wasn't. Obviously we'll find out at the first home game. The area will remain open for 2 hours after the game is over. As you can see from the pictures there's a full length bar along the right hand side wall. Seating/terracing in both corners, close to the concourse. Tables and chairs are on the left hand side. The DJ both is also on the left hand side. I don't know if the toilets are still there or not. I didn't go that far in to have a look. I don't know what's happening with the turnstiles.

A couple of slight duplicate pictures.

Bottom tier, 3rd row from the back, so not a chance of seeing them. Can see the nice gaps in each corner of the expanded stand where the screens are obviously designed to go...

That’s been such a dead space for years. Started last year by adding those beer carts which was a step in the right direction but this hopefully really improves having a beer at 115. Great pics and looks really good.

It looks really good. The fitout looks top notch. The club have obviously spent a lot of money it. TBH it's about time the club spent some money on the areas of the ground where the rank and file are. As others have posted, it's been a dead space for far too long. I hope it's open to everyone in the South Stand. And there's no criteria to go in there. We'll probably find out soon.

I can’t quite get my head around where that is. If it’s where my noggin thinks it is I can’t understand how it appears so big.

The Etihad looking superb.

It could be by eyes, but have they got rid of the barriers at the bottom of the stairwells on the second tier? They are in our eyeline when looking at the pitch and I tried to get the club to accept that our seats were restricted view (as they are at other grounds), but they wouldn't have it.
