The collar site is in six phases

I think fbloke may have been asking if, you can tell us are there are other plans for the stadium after the two ends, if he wasn't I will, are there ?

I don't personally work on the stadium side of things so can't confirm anything. However, from what I do know, there are various architect designs and if we fill the extended ground then they will be implemented. Personally, I think you are talking a 10 year + timescale for further expansion, if required.

I reckon 60k will be just about right for our fan base and anything more could end up looking empty for the lesser games. I really can't see our average attendance doubling in that timescale.

it all depends upon success on the pitch and the prices charged.
United went from 45K to 75K ave in just over 10 years, because they had success on the pitch and kept their prices low.

Yeah but attendances went up everywhere over the same period of time. That's not to say I don't think we could be filling a 60,000 seat stadium in the next 4 or 5 years though.

Question for GXCity, hope you can answer fella. How far does the first phase of the development of the collar site creep northwards. Does it go up to the tramlines/canal, does it fall short or does it go beyond. Just trying to get an understanding of the scale of the different phases. Cheers fella. Or nybody else in the know.

Down to the North Car Parks. This area is the last phase of development

Cheers for the response GX, much appreciated. That's one hell of a size/area for a phase 1 development. The mind boggles as to what you can get on that site.

If, as you say, each phase takes about two years, there must be an awful lot of manpower on that initial build. I can't envisage the size of the North Car Parks and what other parcels of land are associated with it but i'm just beginning to realise the size of what's coming up on the horizon. It truly will be awe inspiring.

Based off what you(GX) have speculated about further Stadium Expansion, it would probably partly/mostly be predicated on what kind of footfall the Collar site development generates?

I am really looking forward to all this development (when its finished) -collar site etc.
Just slightly off topic - but on TV today this guy was talking about Bale at Madrid and the 13 training pitches , Swimming pool and a Spa. He went on to say that Bale will feel at home because Spurs have one of the best training complex-es in the world with all of the above except 11 training pitches. I did not know Spurs had all that ??

I believe they finished construction last year. Never actually seen it but I have heard it is state of art. Not a patch on ours though

He means "except [they have] 11 training pitches instead of 13".

Unless you're being sarcastic, in which case forget I answered.
