Interesting pictures in there but I think a lot of them have already been posted, apart from this one.....

:)
Really like this one. It's got a bit of Abu Dhabi style architecture...a dash of that Zaha Hadid to it.

The supports still look a bit odd on all the renders I've seen. Bit like when computer games environments go a bit awry (or at least how they used to). When they poke through the internal section to the exterior, I'm guessing they'll need a hefty amount of wet room grade silicone!

More than a few hints that further expansion in the future has been given serious thought. I'd like to think one day it could surpass not only Old Trafford (even with that daft 'cloud' supporters area shown last week) and the part time Twickenham venue...

I like it - looks like the crown on the Statue of Liberty!

I see that the game at The Etihad in the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup will be between Wales vs. Australia
on 10th October 2015. The Stadium is expected to hold 61,000 at this time(the current capacity of 47,750 is to be increased).

I got the above info. from the World Cup website BUT it appears that the fixture has changed(according to Page 73 0n this thread The Daily Mail had 10th October down as England vs. Play-Off ....??).
Sorry about that.

I think our weather is accurate.

Here's a brain teaser.

Can anyone remember the 5 phases outlined by Khaldoon(I think) and what order they're in?

Thanks.

The only thing that worries me is the fact that I'm in my 50s. Any Blue 50 and over has probably suffered more than the younger fans since we remember when we were last successful and then had to put up with all the in between bits. So come on Sheikh and get a move on, I want to see a stadium fully expanded before I kick it.

Given that we do extend ALL around the existing stands, and obtain an estimated capacity of 70-72k

could we replace the 4 corner TV quadrants with seating, I reckon that could easily gain us over 2k per corner sending us over the 80k level

or has this been dismissed earlier in other posts

The screens could be replaced with one of those 4 screen combinations hanging over the centre of the pitch, like in Sweden which Joe Hart hit with a kick once.
They could be attached to the roof support pillars for stability

Or a cheaper option could be hanging the screen from the top of the stands (similar to how Spurs have the TV screens in their proposed new stadium pics)

Still Hasn't made the MEN. Can't see it mentioned on any sites via News Now either.

Strange, considering there's plenty of new stuff available in the planning application.
