Might just be chat but a female who doesn't own a computer or follow any Etihad campus carry-ons....turned to me yesterday and said 'Asda's going init ', naturally I asked her to expand and she told me her sis who works for Next will soon be looking for graft cause their on the move.

I have heard the exact same thing from someone else who works in the area.

Lots of imaginative people living and working in the area

possibly imaginative re: Asda but not so dreamy of pre-planning a new working travelling time should they want to stick with the Next Company

Anyone seen anything of Ashton canalside junctioning into the training campus possibly terminating into a fountain or some such, sure I read it on here, unless I imagined it.

I personally would have been driving in the left hand lane as I approached the lights before the bridge - more economical
re-arrange this well known sentence...

OFF F*CK ;-)
Personally Steve I think you deserve a round of applause for the safe distance you kept at all times between yourself and the car in front (a bugbear of mine).

The video wasn't bad either.

Does anyone still think there will be a completely new stadium further down the line?

I can't see it happening. The most likely site was where the CFA is being built and with the club having plans
to expand the existing stadium in stages to 70,000+ over the next 15 years I think we are settled for the
next 50.

I would love it if they did never been fond of the etihad tbh. Too much of an athletics arena instead of an intimidating stadium with deep stands.

Was designed from the outset as a football stadium with temporary use for athletics the design was never compromised for athletics if it ever gets to 70k it will need a new roof on East and West sides which will be more enclosing

The two new ends will make it more intimidating and imposing.

So Asda are staying until the two ends of the ground are rebuilt - what was it in 10 years time? ; ). Sorry.
Why don't we just buy that Asda store, turn it into a Citysda (City supermarket) that sells EVERYTHING died in sky blue. Imagine it, sky blue milk, sky blue bread, sky blue eggs, sky blue beer, sky blue pies and for some of the flappers on here, sky blue tampons.

Did that chippy next to mary D's every get its sky blue fish going?

I drove past the academy last night and now they've got the end parts on the bridge it does look rather cool. Once its all finished I think it's gonna be pretty stunning.
