It would be highly naive to believe that ISIS haven't taken advantage of the migrant crisis to get significant numbers of potential terrorists into the EU, and stupidity of the highest order to continue to allow the free movement of people when faced with that prospect.

Doing what ISIS want you to do is stupidity of the highest order. Banning the movement of Muslims which is not far off what many are calling for would be the greatest gift ever given to them. We do need to know much more who has come in and we should be spending more dealing with refugees properly and getting a far better handle on the issue, but not if it means serving IsIs and granting their wishes . Besides this is absolutely fuck all to do with the EU and shouldn't be in this thread. We the uk played a huge role in starting , causing this crisis (not the EU) and we are going to have to play a big part inSolving it , in or out.

Shows how desperate the outters are getting if an EU thread is becoming an anti ISIS thread, will be reading about how the commission coordinates ISIS through at this rate. This post and a few others should be moved by a mod to the Brussells one

They'll try. Closed borders didn't stop the 9/11 attacks though and doesn't stop home grown terrorism, which is a far bigger issue. They didn't need to sneak anyone in to achieve the Paris attacks and the ancestral lands of the terrorists didn't have an open immigration policy with the EU. The 7/7 bombings were the same and most likely the recent attacks in Brussels will be too. The link between the Paris attacks and Syrian refugees is one of coincidence and not causation.

The Syrian passport was left there very calculatedly and very deliberately by ISIS to further their main aim of having the ignorant right vilify all Muslims and give them the greatest recruiting seargent they can dream of.

To make the EU vote about terrorism though is firstly stupid and secondly it's playing to ISIS tune and shows fear and division just when unity and courage are needed. Once we had Churchill now we have Farage - it's sad

Except you. Mr nobody from the CIB comment on Europe in a negative way and the outters jump on and defend everything . Strange after all the comments from Boris that when someone like David Petraeus invokes Churchill that everyone is quiet.

I happen to agree with him "there is only one thing worse than fighting with allies and that is fighting without them"

I don't happen to agree with him that Brexit will make too much of a difference either way on security the bad guys are already here, but I Do think the time and resources wasted on Brexit will cost jobs and lives. Not because of security of cooperation issues but because it is time and money wasted on secondary problems

but why would we keep the door wide open for more to join them?

these two issues are obviously inextricably linked

unless for some reason you actually want more ISIS supporters to have the right to move to the UK of course

I look around and see a tin pot group with a few hundred active members bringing hundred of millions to their knees in fear . I see a small group whose aim is to change our lives and our values and who seek to divide Europe against itself and to turn the west against the whole of Islam.

Sadly I then see people who should be dead against them and everything they stand for actually going along with their aims and doing their dirty work for them - these people say they are vehemently opposed but are acting in a way that can only help ISIS.

Borders or no borders most of the terrorists are home grown and quite a few were clean skin so could happily have moved between Belgium and France. Any passports found were put there very deliberately because ISIS wants you to talk exactly how you have talked and to sell out the western values they hate and to close up and cower in fear .

The London bombs wouldn't have happened if we had borders around London, many of the IRA bombs wouldn't have happened with borders enforced around Ireland and Northern Ireland. Exactly how far will your fear drive you? Truth is that borders will change in Europe but we aren't in Schengen anyway.

They should be crushed and we should be focusing out energy on doing that not trying to pretend the EU vote is a terrorist issue and waste our resources and energy on that.
