OMG - I know people see what they want to see, but to say that"....Gove being taken apart by Faisal Islam on Sky news....." How can anyone take that view? - unless they actually did no watch the interview - only SKY's very carefully edited highlights.

Gove handed Islam his arse.
Saw about 25 minutes of it on Sky News. All I saw was Gove not answering the questions he was asked, saying that nobody's opposing opinion is worth listening to and asking people to make up their own mind (whilst ignoring anyone who argues that we should remain in). It's true that in spite of that Gove came across ok but there was no substance to his arguments.

To be honest mate....does it really matter what the % is.....if you are part of the 1% or 5% or 10% etc....that loses their jobs because there companies cant be competitive on the single market, does it really matter?....is one job more important than another?...I think not.....
I think you missed my point

6% of the entire EU is a far greater sum than 50% of the UK (your figures) So yes they would deal, and deal fairly as that is in the best interests of all concerned.
In fact it´s in the best interest of the Germans and they run the EU.

Sorry misunderstood.....Fair point mate.....but if we 6% of the greater sum....then there is still 94% of trade at the front of the queue thats going to be their priority!;) We still need them more than they need us....

If the inners are right and Britain needs to negotiate deals with the EU rather than member countries that'll really annoy Irish people. I would not blame the uk for causing this by exiting the eu, I'd blame the eu for breaking a millennia of common trade because of their need for total control.

...because atleast (in most cases - not all) they are basing their opinions on multiple risk factors across a very wide range of tests and are looking at them from a "independent" point of view! unlike the outs that only have pipe dreams and hopes that a fellow man(Cameron?) might have a magic stick to make things better once we leave!;) ...The fact that the "outs" are happy to wait to see what the plan is, until AFTER they've voted out...tells us all we need to know...I didnt know it was even possible to vote for something "blindly" without understanding what the true cost of that vote will be.....amazing!

As has been made clear many economic co-operation treaties and so on could work perfectly well without giving up the right to run your own country as you see fit.
And you're going to make those deals how? From the negotiating position of the biggest economy in the world or from the position of one that is a fraction of its size and importance?

Editing a few extra laws that we have influence over anyway is not worth royally screwing with our economic future.

The multiple risk factors were still wrong on advising the UK to join the Euro. Joining the ERM meant my mortgage rate at that time went up to 17%!!!

and we've also gone from the "sick man of europe" to the 5th biggest economy with the EU's help.....and you also going to risk those mortgage rates going back up!

What has George Osborne said?
Chancellor George Osborne has been vocal about how he believes a vote to leave the EU would cause a housing market crisis.

He said at last month’s meeting of theInternational Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington: "If you look at the view of the experts here at the IMF it’s pretty clear that if Britain votes to leave the EU then prices will go up and there will be instability in financial markets.

"What that means for families is that mortgage rates are likely to go up. In other words, it will be families paying the price if Britain votes to leave the EU."

Funny thing is those jobs are safer than they have been in five years at the minute due to a weakened pound making exports cheaper to our European brothers.

Not only that. An out vote will virtually guarantee that Gove or Boris will be our next Prime Minister. I'm sure all the world powers will be queueing up to do trade deals with Bojo and Gove lol!

Watch all of it then.

Corbin needs smokers to get anywhere near Downing Street (even with a Tory civil war) & Osborn could be fatally damaged by a Brexit vote (although he would still have a chance of the hot seat)!
I think Boris is next PM whatever happens (In will win by about ten points).

Cameron has had an awful campaign and the back benches will perform a bloody coup. Should be a laugh anyway.
