Do you know how much of the budget to cover those costs is decided by the EU and how much of it is contributed by EU immigrants of working age? As for planning for people arriving you're still well able to plan for how many of them will be able to claim benefits and be a drain on that budget.

Claiming benefits isn't a massive problem although in work benefits was a massive labour fuck up, transport, dentists, nhs, schools, housing, crime etc... Are though and unless you have some idea of the numbers then it is a problem, immigration is very welcome and of great benefit but having no control of it isn't. You only have to see fat fuck Ashley on the news today to see the huge downside. All Cameron has is gdp, if people want a country based on the green fair enough. Some have higher standards and a bit more vision.

Ave' it !!!! Go Farage. Shot her down.

Feck the EU thinking they can tell us what to do. Obama can feck off too.

Instead of thinking about what other countries think, let's do what is best for us. No nicey nicey BS.

......and thats what some people seem to forget mate....in or out......the rich will get richer. Even if we leave.....do people really trust the Cameron's, Gove's of this world to put the poor before the rich? By leaving we'll just damage the economy in the short-mid term and in the long term its more money for the top 10%...nothing changes and I cant believe anyone would be gullible enough to believe it will.....as for no GP, living in a no-go zone and cant get onto the housing ladder.....every one of those issues is a local Government problem, no point anyone blaming the EU.....If everyone wants to be more democratic, then we should vote for a Government that knows how to run this country.....leaving or staying the EU has very little to do with most of our issues. If we had someone in Government who knew what they were doing, that would make alot more impact than risking everything by voting out.....If you going to blame Cameron, blame him for running the country so badly....anyone blaming the EU alone is just misplaced and not showing rational thinking.........imho! ;)

Which government is this that knows how to run the country?

The Tories control spending on housing and the NHS, not the EU and they've been cutting everything they can since they got into power.

I agree mate....I know its only my view but I really believe this whole issue about leaving the EU is just deflecting the real problems away from local Government! but thats just my view....If we all want more power and be more democratic...we should be thinking about voting the current party out....and not be risking the economy but still be stuck with the same poorly run government and be no better off?..to me, that just doesnt make sense.....

If we think the EU is bullying us, then heaven help us when we try and deal with the USA, China and Japan on our lonesome. Will they take pity on us and not bully us?
Are we really saying we're weak enought to be bullied by the EU, but strong enough to go it alone and not be bullied?

We are getting punished no matter what we vote in this EU thing according to EU leaders. So I'd vote leave.

Thats what you meant to use your democratic right for mate...we shouldnt be blaming the EU for the mistake we made at the last election..You want change? first change has to happen at home....fix these problems then decide what you want to do about Europe....otherwise you just making a risky situation even worse...everyone agrees this will make the economy worse in the short term.....if the "outs" are happy to risk this to leave....then atleast do it knowing we have a govenment and leaders we can count on....surely that makes more sense?

What is best for us, is for other nations to enter into decent trade agreements with us. We can't get that by telling the rest of the world to fuck off then expect them to do us any favours.
Like it or lump it, we aren't the big cheese in the world any more, and a little humility isn't just a good thing, it's an absolute necessity. That's not to say we shouldn't stand up for ourselves, but you HAVE to care what other countries think - they're the ones we're trying to negotiate with.

Everyone doesn't agree it will make the economy worse in the long term, that is basically a mistruth, the last vote on Europe was in the 70's so we can't deal with it later especially as only ukip as a party is against it, we didn't make a mistake as such last election we just had a really poor opposition. If we stay we are going to get austerity, mass immigration, restricted public services and an undemocratic Europe.

our immediate future is the eu and the tories, I would say that is a shame, but some on here deserve it

Sorry mate....I edited my message a couple of minutes ago...it should have said "everyone agrees the economy will be worse in the short term"

We could, in theory, hold another referendum next month if we want to, and the month after that. It's not practical or likely, but we can do it if we choose.
We can also withdraw from the EU anytime we damn well please - although the repercussions of a non-graceful exit would be truly massive.

You have made up your mind but don't post such shit, we are the 5th largest economy in the world, in a world of hundreds of countries by definition we are a big cheese. And how are we telling the rest of the world to fuck off?
