Will be some firesale if they do go down lol, you'd think pickford, DCL and Richarlison would all demand a move for their international hopes in a world cup year. Minimum. Everyone else is probably too shit to get a move, but those a gonna be some big wages in the championship for the likes of Michael Keane, Iwobi, Gomes, Allan, Coleman etc. All completely unsellable players. if they didn't come up immediately things could get bad.

Everton used to be a side of pretty unglamorous names that were pretty industrious and tough to beat. Solid top 6 side. On their day, capable of beating anyone, especially at home.

Nowadays though, they've fallen into the trap of buying players with big ego's on overinflated transfer fees and astronomical wages, and just haven't been able to mould them into a decent unit.

Money isn't everything ;)

they remind me a bit of bradford city the chairman admitted after relegation the buzz and media attention when signing players felt good
everton get loads of money and from buying safe good players beleived own hype and just signed players for buzz look at us

Amongst many issues at goodison the main one is bang average players on a decent wage and how to shift them. Who would buy the majority of that squad and some of the players believe their own hype. But they are on contracts and would sooner stay and sit on the bench and collect their wages. And who can blame them.
DCL offers little to a team that struggle to get the ball from a defence to attack.
Michael Keane should not be playing and the whole team need a good look at themselves. All we ask is that they put some effort in and try..I watch them and you can see they haven't a clue what to do on the pitch. Is that a training issue or are they just not good enough in this league.
Coleman telling the fans to calm down last night at the end of the game. " Yeah okay mate, we just got dicked 5-0 so no worries."

After that wimbledon game all those years ago when hans segers was letting them through his legs for everton to stay up, id get a buzz out of them going down

That game had no say in everton staying up, the other results went our way. We would have stayed up anyway as Sheffield United got beat at Chelsea. Had the other teams all won we would have gone down anyway regardless of the result v Wimbledon

And a scatter gun approach.
