Bill kenwright was one of those who had the club at his heart,but unfortunately it has took his passing for Everton to now move on,and try and get back challenging at the right end of the table,R.I.P Bill ..

The similarities with Swales are plain to see.
Both loved there relevant clubs but overstayed there welcome and couldn’t let go before it was too late.

RIP Bill Kenwright. Condolences to his family and friends. From all I have read over the years he seems to have been a good man and he definitely loved Everton FC

A shame he won’t get to see their new stadium.

Kenwright undoubtedly had the clubs best interests at heart, he was a fan first and foremost. In today's modern global game he was possibly out of touch
Those who knew him always spoke highly of him and he will be remembered for various reasons by many. I don't agree with some of the things he said or did more recently but respect to him for what he did for the club.

The days of clubs being owned by local businessmen and the like are long since gone……unfortunately

Soon to be the local fan replaced by the gloryhunter.. sad times
