So a KC who states how proud he is to have done a lot of work with Leeds is on a panel that found us guilty. Which in turn helps Leeds sue.
Not a conflict of interest at all

Nearly as bad as former United and Liverpool Directors (still connected to their old clubs)working on a trumped up investigation into our finances for UEFA during a period when our confidential financial information was systematically leaked to the UK and US media.

An Everton only punishment?

Sounds about right

The sanction criteria was pushed by Richard Masters. It is hard to see how he can survive this. The idea that Everton, which has been very badly run and invested its money poorly, has gained any sporting advantage by spending an extra £6.5m a season for three years is absurd.

Oops… forgot about Barclay’s as well

Hmm How did that one work out ;)
Excited about the future': UAE citizens congratulate Sheikh Mansour, Sheikh Khaled - News | Khaleej Times

Apparently, there's going to be a plane, paid for by some Everton group, flying over the Etihad on Saturday with a message to the Premier League regarding the points deduction, can't do it at their home match on the Sunday as, quite conveniently, it's a "night match" so "wouldn't be seen".

How dark does it get at 4:30?????

Seems more a case of "two birds with one stone" if you ask me.

Ian Byrne, Liverpool West Derby MP and Red Shite fan. Fair play to him.

This basically threatens the club, the stadium, jobs if we go into administration etc. EITC. P&S was meant to 'protect clubs' but this could kill us. Good to see him mention the pathetic punishment the Super League wannabees got too.

His motion, in full, read: “That this House condemns the grossly unjust points deduction imposed on Everton Football Club by a Premier League commission, a punishment lacking any legal or equitable foundation or justification for the level of sanction; notes that financial-not-sporting penalties for far more severe breaches have been applied, including the industry-and-community-threatening European Super League; declares that sporting sanctions unfairly punish supporters; notices the improper dismissal of extraordinary mitigating circumstances outlined by Everton; impresses on the House Everton’s investment in North Liverpool, its 2028 Euro Stadium, and the club’s long-standing, commendable commitment to Liverpool’s vulnerable; gravely remarks that these investments are now under threat; that this House contends the Premier League can no longer fairly govern top-flight football without independent scrutiny and legislation; asserts that the commission’s cavalier approach to points deductions necessitates acceleration of the introduction of the Government’s proposed Independent Regulator; urges the Government to immediately establish an Independent Football Regulator that will safeguard the future of the game, enforce compliance with financial regulation, and establish new guardrails for corporate governance, club ownership, fan engagement, and competition regulation; requests the suspension of all proceedings and sanctions made by the commission until the Regulator makes its own determinations; and demands fan ownership and board representation
Also why the fuck is Phillips presiding over a three person panel, one for the claimant and one for the respondent and one neutral? It should be an independent panel who look at all this objectively, they don’t even need to havee a football background and better still should not be from the UK, it fucking stinks, it’s one big corrupt organisation that’s fueled by the grubby twats that used to dominate the League, CUNTS.

Not sure on the validity of this. If I find anything ill post in here.

But it can get quite dark around 4.30, depending on weather, so maybe a grain of truth in it.
