every match joe messes up

Ok so Joe is making mistakes that are costing us points yes, but have people already forgotten the CSKA save that saved us points? Seems like it. I'm not saying he's not to blame, I can't deny his form has slipped but it's all too easy for people to say "he needs to concentrate more on football and forget the celebrity/sponsorship lifestyle etc". As far as I'm aware he's done the head and shoulders ad and that's it. It's not like he's non stop promoting things. You could tell from his response walking off the pitch that he does give a damn. Panty I'd imagine was going to start on Wed anyway and if he plays well then maybe he'll start on Sat against Norwich but we should be standing by Hart not getting on his back. He'll come good and he's still the best English keeper out there by a long shot.

Hi Joe u ok? Thats save against CSKA was actually pretty lucky his legs were that far apart it could've easily gone between his or your legs :)

I agree that there wasn't any need for a separate thread, the one already going should have been enough. To bury your head in the sand and not think that there's serious problems with our goalkeeper is ludicrous though. He may be our number 1, that's mostly down to a lack of competition, and he may be our 2nd longest serving player, but what that's got to do with his current form I don't know.
I'm desperate to see him back to his best, unfortunately it's not going to happen overnight and the chance of us dropping more points is too much a concern to brush under the carpet.

We will be out of the chase for the league if we keep him in the net until January. Playing whilst low on confidence, certainly as a keeper will do more damage than good.
It's a tough call to make, no doubts.

I would rather have a mediocre goalie in front of who the defence can feel secure than an amazing one who jeopardises all the hard work everyone puts in for 90 mins. If he cares so much about the club he should train harder and concentrate so we don't lose points. If he cares so much he'd admit he's not doing well and step aside.
Go back to training Joe Hart and come back once you've sorted yourself out.

Seriously, the first thing that came into my mind when I woke up this morning was the sight of the ball going above him. This sort of shit really hurts. I mean it defo ruined yesterday and I've felt like crying most of the day. We all hurt, it's not just Joe.

That's a very good point, an average but consistent goal keeper, is better than a keeper with world class ability that is prone to making huge errors like yesterdays.

I'd have the majority of keepers in the PL right now over Hart,
