every match joe messes up

@Marvin

He's been poor for over a year now, with only the odd world class performance. I'm convinced we'll buy another keeper in January.

I bet he's not more gutted than me or thousands of other fans who save all week to go see supposedly pro players

Joe believes it is all about him

No need to glory hunting in the last minute

2 seasons ago I really believe joe won us the title - the save vs Villa stopping Bent equalising in the last minute for example

I honestly fear he has lost us the title this season

We can't afford to lose another match

If you take credit for the highs you have to accept responsibilities for the lows I'm afraid

Your fault all the way Joe
Come out and admit it

Defeats really do attract idiots eh?

Well, you're posting on this subject so I guess the answer is 'Yes'

Joe did make that save at Villa didn't he?
Can we afford to lose another match ?

Joe gutted ? His biggest worry is what colour leather interior to have in his new Range Rover/Merc/Aston Martin and should he buy the latest 82 inch TV or just stick with the home cinema in his mansion

They are pros and get paid big bucks for being at a high level of skill and performance
joe obviously has the talent but he continually falls down on the performance front, Stevie Wonder could see that.
Therefore he is open to honest, accurate criticism

This is a forum, where people can express their opinions, if it isn't what you think that's no reason to call me an idiot

I doubt you'd say that to my face, but we can test that theory if you want to
Not sure who the hell you think you are, but watch your mouth.

Ohhhhhh get you!

I love it when people make veiled threats, they usually retract them after meeting me, but I'm no internet warrior, so I'll leave you to your macho posturing, as foolish as you look doing it pal.

Anyways, don't know quite why you've reacted so badly, that probably says more about you than anything else.

For what it is worth, I believe Hart should have been dropped after the Villa game, he wasn't. Yesterday was Nastasic's fault, not Joes, I was sat in the upper tier and clearly heard Hart call for the ball, Nastasic should have left it alone.

Happy now?

Idiot.

Bad patch?? Even in the title winning season I've felt he's dodgy. He always palms the ball into play instead of to the side. This 'bad patch' has been going on for a year and a half at least. The worst thing is, he makes the same mistakes over and over. Always rushing out and missing the ball. I would rather have a mediocre goalie in front of who the defence can feel secure than an amazing one who jeopardises all the hard work everyone puts in for 90 mins. If he cares so much about the club he should train harder and concentrate so we don't lose points. If he cares so much he'd admit he's not doing well and step aside.
Go back to training Joe Hart and come back once you've sorted yourself out.

That's a very good point, an average but consistent goal keeper, is better than a keeper with world class ability that is prone to making huge errors like yesterdays.

I'd have the majority of keepers in the PL right now over Hart,
I wouldn't. I think I'd take Cech and that's it. He'll come good again

Just beginning to get over Sunday evening[/quote]
I'd take Mignolet,Cech, De Gea,Begovic, Boric, that Cardiff keeper,Lloris,Guzan, in fact probably most other Prem keepers apart fromEngland's no 2 Ruddy.

Joe has been with us since the dark days of Pearce and cares deeply about the club, it doesn't make him exempt from criticism, but it used to give you abit of slack with city fans

People have very short memories and only remember the bad times with hart. Bad patch yes, but the situation is that there is only him and pants. Pants, isn't good enough. So we have joe until jan as our no 1. He deserves support not vitriol, even de gea didn't get this much abuse

Seriously, the first thing that came into my mind when I woke up this morning was the sight of the ball going above him. This sort of shit really hurts. I mean it defo ruined yesterday and I've felt like crying most of the day. We all hurt, it's not just Joe.

With all due respect buddy, I think you need to man up a bit

He shouted when Nasty was already in the process of heading it back to him, or at least at a point when he was too committed to change his mind. He shouldn't have been anywhere near the edge of the box, he should have been screaming to Nasty when the ball was in the air, telling him to cushion it back. He was in the best possible position to see the danger, from the moment the hopeful punt was in the air he should have taken charge. That's what the best keepers do, they take the pressure off their back four. Yesterday Hart failed on that count big time.

Why start another thread though? What's wrong with the thread where loads of other posters have said the same?

dunno, I just typed it out and there you go. feel free to ignore this thread if it pains you so much.

*weird*

i won't ignore a thread where the whole intention is to slag off City players and the author thinks their opinion deserves its own thread to ram the point home even more.

I thought mods loved to merge duplicate threads?

have you got any idea how big a blue I am? of course my opinion is the most important.

oh and fuck the mods. little hitlers to a man...............and woman.

But he really didn't need to be anywhere near it did he? Nastasic was always going to win the header.

Nastasic should've done what every kid is taught and that's to get rid before it bounces.

Maybe so and he carries some blame too but Hart was not guilt free in that situation.
