Everything Star Wars

Darth Maul was a ****. Never liked him and his stupid double sided saber.

I dunno he has a pretty good story arc in the clone wars and I wouldn't mind seeing his rebels final duel with Kenobi to be shown in the upcoming live action series, either as a flashback or preminoton, depending on when it is set

Just finished watching it with the kids.

We all enjoyed it...not quite to the level of some on here, but it was harmless fun.

Have to say though, the Stormtroopers have to be the worst fighters in the history of the universe. There must have been thousands of shots from them over the series, and they can’t hit a target from 10 yards, and to top it off they line themselves up to be shot.

;-)

Watched the last 3 episodes last night and thought it was brilliant. The last 2 in particular, were fantastic and easily up there with the best Star Wars put on film.

So many ways this can go now. I know The Book Of Bobba has been announced but I'm really interested in How Grand Admiral Thrawn plays out in this as Ahsoka Tano mentions him in one of the episodes and he was presumed dead after the events in Star Wars Rebels. If Ever a Star Wars character deserves their own show its him

You must have hated The A Team

I got to s01e05.

I couldn't move past the fact that Mandalorians never removed their helmet. I envisaged him, at the big reveal, having a super-crusty head with a 15' long whispy beard...

My son has done both series, and the feedback is very good, similar to the bulk of this thread. So, I'll give it another go starting later tonight...
We watched the finale of season 1 last night, you finally get to see his face. Don't get too excited about that mind.

We've enjoyed it and have season 2 ready on a stick. It's nice and short fun, Mr Inbetween is similar in that regards.

Just watched the last episode in the Mandalorian series 2 - I'm a big Star Wars fan, loved the original films, not so much the later films, with the exception of Rogue One and the final film The Rise of Skywalker, anyway where was I? The last episode of the Mandalorian, what a great last scene (spoiler alert) Luke Skywalker, yes Luke Skywalker !!! Just thought it was done so well, really brought me back to the late 70's early 80's, 1983 was The Return of the Jedi, I think Disney for once really got this right, yes granted the baddies were not really bad like Darth Vader and the storm troopers couldn't hit a barn door, but overall pretty good. I'm now looking forward to "The Book of Boba Fett" coming at the end of this year!

Just watched them all in one session. Thought it was very enjoyable, I'm not massively down on all canon so can't comment there. My only issues were it seemed a lot of the episodes were essentially from an RPG, with your man just off on quests. A slighter bugbear, actors who have played pretty iconic sci fi roles being in another franchise, Katee Sackhoff for example, just feels a bit odd.

Heard it was great.
Watched the first expecting to catch the bug.
Came away thinking, I’m not fourteen anymore. It’s just the Wild West meets the same shit of the second trilogy of cgi rubbish.

.....,Guess I’m the odd one out here. Was hoping not to be.

Yeah, I'd heard it was the best of any of the Star Wars stuff. We watched all of it but I'd only list it as okay. Ever since then though, half of the stuff we've watched seems to have Pedro Pascal in it. Mind you, one of them was Wonder Woman 1984 which looked like it was made in that year, what a disappointment and waste of 2½ hours of our lives.

Finished this recently. other than Rogue one its the 1st thing of the new generation ( since disney ) of star-wars that has felt like Star-wars to me.
