A replay date would be an absolute mare for both teams, don't even go there.

Cheeseman just tweeted we won't be on the Sun cos of Barca on the Tues. Arsenal don't play till Wed, so answer seems obvious; us Sat 5.30 & them 3.30 Sun.
Except, ITV get first pick, and if they think Arse Liverpool is a bigger draw, they'll want it showing on Sat tea time.
Both the early Sat & Sun slots get smaller viewing figures so neither game would be shown then.
I reckon best hope is itv prefer our game, or BT show it Friday night which would be even better
It's been mentioned several times on here already; we're playing Sunderland on the preceding wednesday nght, therefore the cup tie will not be moved to the friday night.

How about we play it on the 14th Feb instead then?

I'm hoping for a Friday night kick off. When was our last Friday night game?
I suspect the answer is V Birmingham City in 2000, before we clinched promotion, complete with premature pitch invasion.

I doubt very much that TV will allow it to be played Friday, or that City will want it 2 days after Sunderland.
But worst case scenario itv have us sunday at 4pm so in essence oy two days after we play barca..if we played it friday this is only 2 days after sunderland..is there any difference.if it was friday it wojld give us extra 24hrs recovery.

.personally i think we will win the domestic treble

You have come a long way since September mate.

Good on you.
Cheers pal...the quad??never say never..

Incredibly difficult mate, even a domestic treble but with this squad and manager, anything is possible.

I want the league first and foremost, then the CL and the icing and cherries on the cake would be the CC and FA cup.

Not too greedy is it?

I reckon we can do the quintuple.

Next year we could possibly do the nonuple if Melbourne Heart/City do well

City v Sunderland in the league on wednesday 12th february and the Barcelona game the following tuesday means this has got to be a saturday game.

If we come through february unbeaten, with no suspensions and no injuries then i might start dreaming of us winning the lot!

Do you think this draw might encourage MP to buy this week?

Who knows mate - you raise a good point though... If we are to compete on all 4 fronts we may need to add, although you have to say our current squad is bloody strong and if any team in the league are equipped to win the lot you'd have to say it's us - Feb will be crunch time though and as the above poster has said if we can get through feb winning every game you;d have to back us!!
