To be fair it's not that bad for the game. If we keep hoovering everything up it just wouldn't be right. Shame it's against that lot, but we've just won 4 league titles in a row which has never been done.
i feel Pep will change something next year, possibly two up front could be interesting as Haaland is getting crowded out completely against the top defences that sit back and we need to create more space for him.I think Bernie will be off and Kyle and Johnny Stones
Do they have any money ?Rumour that both he and Stones could go to the German rags
save it for the politics thread!Saw a 4yr old on the news last night from Gaza. He lost his parents in a missile strike & then a couple of weeks later another strike took his legs. This kid was tearing around in his wheelchair with a big smile on his face, if a child can deal with proper adversity I'm sure losing a football match pales in significance.
Be disappointed with the result and the performance by all means. To be excessively slating anyone's mentality or commitment means you've earned your hall pass into the entitlement club alongside fans of the red shirted clubs . The levels this team maintains year upon year are insane and sometimes an off day has worse consequences than others. We fucked it in the first half but we move! Another successful season under our belts and another great one ahead.
Cheers Jim
I thought the first minute one was the stonewaller. The first one with Martinez just straight-up putting his shoulder in Haaland's back with zero intent to play the ball was far more egregious IMO, and that's saying something.
I wouldn't, I'd want both...and I suspect Pep and the team would tooIf we’d lost the semi, we’d still be in the pub now celebrating the title. Nobody wins every cup final and nobody wins every derby.
Some of the comments on here though. the greatest team the country has ever seen has an off day, down to celebrating 4 in row, and people want to sell everyone. Jesus.
If I’d been offered a cup final defeat for the certainty of the league before the Fulham fixture I’d have taken it.
That’s a penalty for any other player than erl. He didn’t give it because it was so early on. ConvincedThe first one with Martinez just straight-up putting his shoulder in Haaland's back with zero intent to play the ball was far more egregious IMO, and that's saying something.
The easy answer to that one is they should have turned up today thenI wouldn't, I'd want both...and I suspect Pep and the team would too
How come the press didn't report this?Cheers blue, just about rounds off a depressing day
What a fucking pile of shit post. Calling our players wankers, just fuck off.
that is absolutely no excuse for todays performance, they had a chance to create history and do something that's never been achieved before in this country, just think about that for a minuteAchieving history last weekend will have been such a huge relief after all the pressure of the previous 2 months. It may just taken the edge off the players' desire. Only a theory.
I thought winning the treble might have had a similar effect on this season as a whole but it didn't although we never quite hit the heights of 22/23.
