I thought the tactics were a bit off as we were overrun in midfield for most of the first half - mainly due to the fact Yaya was dreaming of catching some rays this summer. Subs were spot on but pour downfall was the lack of individual performances from pretty much everyone. We can get away with one or two having a shocker but when the whole team can't be fucked then we might as well have put some hungry players out there...
Have to say after last season's heroics it's been such an underwhelming season, we need to get rid of some deadwood and bring in some new hunger into the squad or else we'll have a similar season. Really hope we stay with Bobby, not the time for a change in my opinion.

Subs were spot on? Taking off our best player on the day and the only one who looked threatening, Tevez? Of course with the Bobby inners, nothing is ever his fault.
I'm not describing Nasri as our best player, I'm referring to Tevez.
Yeah, Rodwell had a fantastic impact on the game....he completely dominated midfield when he came on (not), missed a free header from 5 yards out then lost their guy at the corner allowing him to score so yep, well spotted, he had a blinder and bringing him on was clearly the correct decision.

Because it was Barry's wayward pass that let Wigan in and led to Zaba making the tackle that got him sent off.

Mancini is getting a lot of flak but he isn't some teenager with an Xbox controller on the bench controlling every player. He sets up the tactics and puts out a team but I'm not being funny the players get an easy ride, they have to put it into practice and motivate themselves to deliver passion and drive across the pitch.

The club really need to deal with the rumours as well. The media are having a field day and fuck all is being said by the club to clarify the situation.

Today was our last 18 months in microcosm. A culmination of all that has been going wrong for months and months and months.
Slow, ponderous build up. Lack of movement. Struggling to break teams down. Stupid mistakes (Barry, how many is that?).
We've seen it again and again this season. We can't say today was a one off. It wasn't.
We have a team of world class players who have been punching MILES below their combined weight for a long time, but we have ridden our luck. Today, our luck ran out.
Changes are now inevitable, and you would be hard pushed to say they are not needed.
