Bloody hell im upset tonight. But i dont blame Mancini for this defeat.I look at some of those players today and they didnt give there all for the club.Barry was shi* and so was are defending at a set piece again, when they scored.Lescott should have played instead of Nasty the defence looks better when Lescott plays.

So it is Bob's fault?

No mate, this week its the turn of Vicky Kloss and Txiki.

Tune in next week folks when the blame game will continue and Bob and his merry band of followers will pick someone else ;-)

Oh well there'll be next year.
At least we won't have to face golum and his ugly fuckers in the charity sheild.

One word sums it all up really. Pace or lack of it to be precise.

Wigan played 9 at the back, so I don't think pace would have done it....tho I know what you mean

A player who will beat a man and whip in a cross is needed tho

We play a style where we need several intricate passes and flicks to come off around the boss to create chances. Great when all are on song, but today....

Not really, Wigan are not Stoke, they are very vulnerable to a wide game with wingers that can attack the back 3. Play slow and through the middle though and they will give any team fits.

Their goal differential is -23 and they give up loads on the counter, but Mancini doesn't play that way. He was waiting for a moment of magic from Toure, Silva, or Aguero.

No it isnt Bobs fault. But he could have picked Lescott today instead Nasty. My main concern is Barry. He as been pants most of this season and today he was proper pants

The players looked shattered and unfit. I'd be questioning our fitness program at the moment. Maybe too much time spent on this frustrating to watch tippy tap football rather than working on energy levels and closing teams down.

Agree and they have looked shattered for weeks, it was an unexplainable
performance
not helped by the HUGE gulf in quality between the first 11 and the reserves. The fullbacks just haven't been able to have been given a rest as their back up is so poor. The same can be said for the midfielders. And strikers.

Agreed, we need quality back up that's why Chelsea and the rags have done so well. Still, if we had a decent fitness coach we wouldn't have looked so tired today. 9 changes on Tuesday while Wigan played most of the first team. It's a definite problem.

No they didnt

Thet pressed us all over the park to the point where Hart had no out ball to our defenders because Wigans front 3 were so high up the pitch forcing Hart to punt it long.

When we did manage to get the ball we were so slow to move it from back to front those same players that were pressing our defenders had enough time to them drop deep and yes defend with 9 men

Watch the game again but watch it from a Wigam perspective and tete you will see things differently. The performance today was shambolic utterely utterely shambolic but no professional football should put in lesas than 100% and show less desire to win than the opposing team

Thier front 6 worked really really hard the lot of them they were truly excellent - ours were a fucking joke.

correct , we were shite all over the park i dont think ive seen zabba, nasty, and clichi play so badly, tevez and nasri should of stayed on silva and aguero should of gone off . and yaya should apologise to every city fan who payed good money to go today.
i can handle losing hey im a long suffering city fan but not like that ! mancini will be lucky to be in a job at mcfc next season!!!!

He would of got ripped apart. Nasta has still a long way to go but will be a quality Defender.
