FA Cup Final v Watford - Pre Match Thread

While watching the players celebrate the stadium. I saw on the big screen what the players have won this season it said, Charity Shield, Carabao Cup, and the Premier League. So yes we are now playing for a quadruple of domestic trophies. So come on boys please don't let the fans down this Saturday, and bring home the FA Cup for your adoring fans.
 
Guys - I need one ticket! Have sorted everyone else’s out and ended up without one!

I think, if we win this, it's perfectly acceptable to include the Charity Shield as a trophy as part of the grand slam for three reasons.

1) to get to play in it at all, you have to have won a major trophy the previous season,

2) having got there, it is one of only four trophies awarded in English football. Not the most important but a trophy nonetheless and we swept it up in a relentless assault on the English game.

3) if we hadn't won it, the rest of the world would be including it as a failure.

'Hozay' always used to count the Charity Shield as a trophy.
Good enough for me.
