Second time it’s happened to Burnley. Ask Forest.
The lad who did time for killing the Forest fan, was actually a City fan from Haslingden named Andy McNee. He was known as ‘Suicity’ by Burnley. He went with Burnley thugs because he didn’t ‘feel welcome’ at City. Was let out of jail after only doing half of his 7years I think, but was then jailed again for breaking a 10 year banning order. A total fuckwit.

Bit of a moot point as the perpetrator of that one wasn't really a Burnley fan though - as I'm sure you know, he was a City season ticket holder from Burnley, although it did happen at a Burnley match rather than a City match. I had the (not so good) fortune of meeting "Suicity" about 6 weeks before that tragic incident on Wilmslow Road following the 3-1 derby win in our final season at Maine Road. He was a proper scrote who fancied himself as a hooligan but probably couldn't punch his way out of a paper bag. As it happens, the attack on the Forest fan was as cowardly as it gets.
he was from Rawtenstall/Haslingden. A little shit bag who thought he could be a hoolie.

Sadly sounds like the Blackpool fan from the weekend has passed away. Regardless of the Vinny connection, 6,000 of these on the booze all day might not end well.
Their allocation is a staggering 7802, definitely doesn't augur well

Don't really mind burnley fans to be honest heard a few bad stories about them but overall never been too bad with us

Just picked up 6 tickets for friends and family. I do like the FA Cup outings, decent kick off time as well. £35-£40 a ticket seems pretty sharp but I imagine it'll sell out easily for a quarter-final.

No problem getting 3 seats together but cheap selling fast.
Got my three, can't miss Vinny's return. Gone for my usual spot where I know the atmos will be decent - though I was tempted to go in NS2 to watch Vinny's tactics. The best views are moving fast up there mind.

Heading to this one from Australia, was there for the week for Leipzig and West Ham but obviously that went pear shaped. Finally got two tickets but wow, what a shambles. Is ticketing always this bad? On hold for 30 mins 3 times only to be hung up on when finally getting through. Never known anything like it.

Just tried to login to buy tickets and it says unavailable. I'm citizens matchday.

I am now in.

Welcome to what the City ticketing people laughingly call the 21st Century

We have these predictions of mayhem before pretty much every cup game with an increased allocation.

I’m in town before and after every home game and the last time I can remember seeing anything of note was a bit of handbags with United in the NQ before one derby, maybe four or five years ago. Even that was a league game I think.

Burnley having the entire south stand? We should be better with allocations.... Give them a shit area.

As there is a rail strike not sure why there is a thought that there will be thousands of Burnley fans in town before the game. Most will just go directly to the stadium.
