Maybe he could tell you where to shove it as well, you smug newbie.
It has precisely fuck all to do with you what time anyone leaves the ground, other than yourself.
So stop playing Biggest Blue Top Trumps and being such a busy ****.

Pretty passionate response from a guy that claimed he wasn't interested at all in this topic.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion on any topic, 65 page thread that hasn't been pulled down says that it's a topic worth talking about. Still makes me laugh that grown men get so irate :)

Can I assume that Chris85 is taken from your date of birth, therefore a young man of 29 years of age worrying like fuck about the older generation. If only !!

Didn't state anything about my age mate, I'm not the one getting irate. If something interests me ill post something, if it doesn't interest me I steer clear.

Just can't understand why someone gets so wound up about a thread that doesn't interest them. Anyway I'm not looking for arguments just posted my opinion which I'm pretty entitled to

I hope this is you on a wind up.
Funny I was just thinking about you as there was an advert and one of the actors was a dead ringer for you.

Actually it's not a wind up. It's something I've decided I feel strongly about. We fans have a part to play and I don't think we're doing that. There's an attitude that we are there just to be entertained and don't have to give anything back but I believe we do owe something to the players. And part of that is giving them support for the full 90 minutes.

Give over, PB. Going to watch a football club is not a 'duty'.
No it isn't a duty but I believe if we go, then we have a responsibility. There's a symbiotic relationship between the players and the fans; we both give something that the other party benefits from and when thousands leave with a few minutes to go, we aren't fulfilling our side of the bargain.

Sorry mate, think your heads gone. The guy I replied to said that he would get off at 1-0 if the game 'wasn't exciting'. That is the most ridiculous reason for leaving a game ive ever heard, and to me it sounds a bit arrogant. Fair enough if your bored of watching your team then go but I just can't understand why anyone would do that.

Not really sure where the glory hunting part comes into it, but yes if you can post me a badge out ill wear it on Sunday just for you :)

My heads gone ?? !! Think you`ll find I was answering your question as to why people would leave early, unless disabled and not for anything normal, like wanting to get home earlier, not wanting to be stuck in traffic. Those are legitimate reasons in my eyes, but unfortunately not yours it appears.
Strap the fookers into their seats until Chris says its time to go. ;)

I genuinely hope my life never gets to the point where beating traffic is the highlight of my experience of watching city.

Anyway it's just my opinion. I'll take a few pictures of Vinny lifting the trophy for you on Sunday and post it out to you, could you put a self addressed envelope in with my medal when you send it out to me :)

Maybe I could do you a certificate in return....Traffic beating champion 2014

I still have to wait for my son who always stays till the end of a game and I wouldn`t want it any other way.I`m disabled,he`s able bodied and a snip of a youngster at only 22 years of age, unlike his fucked up fragile old fella, who`s been, seen and done it for decades.
Hopefully I can see Big Vinnie lifting that trophy on the TV screens but get a flag made saying "I told you Oakie" and show it to the TV cameras,so this early leaving old fart can see you.
Have a good un on Sunday mate and one thing I never do,is take things to heart on this forum. ;)

A responsibility? A bloody bargain?

You are on the wind up.

If it isn't that then this place has sent you daft and you've jumped the shark. I've had my suspicions recently ;-)

Good post fella. Like I said I can understand anyone with a disability leaving early as there are a few near me that would find it difficult in a crowd.

It's the numerous others that go to beat the traffic but one thing I've learnt today is that it's each to their own and everyone is entitled to do what they want.

Cheers mate enjoy the game yourself and fingers crossed we can bring some silverware home and kick on for the rest of the season :)

I walk past this blonde woman in a wheel chair on KIPPAX level 2. She is always there well after the final whistle. Proper blue.

Funnily enough I saw her at Wembley last year or maybe before can't remember we've been there that many times. ;)

Proper blues stay til the end ……..(Disclaimer: I’m just fuckin about jesus h navas)

Utd are shyte by the way

Who gives a fuck what the players think
If I or anyone else wants to get up on 85 mins or 90 mins and fuck off,we will
I'll tell you who's "pathetic" the moaning fuckers on here.
Well why not save yourself a couple of hours or more and not bother turning up at all? I'm sure some of you would be much happier watching a crap team under the likes of Stuart Pearce and being able to say "Come on, let's go. I've seen enough of this shit."

The atmosphere in the stadium, even last Tuesday against Barca when it should have been rocking, is utterly shite because that "who gives a fuck" attitude typifies so many City fans these days.

I hope this is you on a wind up.
Unfortunately not, this actually bothers folk for some reason
Unbelievable.

Unfortunately some folk also get really bothered by being asked why they leave early.
Unbelievable - it's not like traffic, little Johnny not liking crowds, it's a school night, I've got a life outside football, I'm going out for dinner and I'll do what the f*ck I like aren't all really valid points well made.

Maybe the club should not allow people in who turn up late? Or stop serving at 10 minutes to kick off and usher people to their seats? And not serve until the half time whistle sounds? And then lock the exits until the full time whistle sounds?

Fucking ridiculous, pointless thread. It is no ones business what another chooses to do (as long as laws aren't broken). And as for the "it's our duty" or "responsibility" crap - I've never heard anything more laughable in my life.
