Fans Not Staying To Applaud The Team

The saddest thing is that yesterday the whole team stayed on the pitch and thanked every stand. Except most the stands were empty.

We are the only club in the country where every home game the stands are almost empty on the final whistle. I watched the Leeds v Chelsea game last week and there wasn’t 1 empty seat at full time.

I get it that some have genuine reasons to get out early but for most it’s just a habit.

I don’t understand why anybody watching yesterdays comeback wouldn’t want to stay to applaud the team off !

Be interesting to see the results of a study to find out if the etihad is worst ground to get away from. Only then will I kind’ve understand why we walk out on the team like we do. Had to laugh yesterday there was a city fan on 606 who openly admitted he went for a pint in the middle of a half.
I hate dippers fans like the next blue but they love their club and show the appreciation for the team. If that was us yesterday thrashing someone 9-0 the ground would’ve been half empty at the end. Maybe we have more non Manc fans than we realize and they do in fact have a long way to go home.

Why are you trying to embarass blues op ? You pay and you can leave when you want , 95 mins of entertament then back to reality , people want to go out on the piss or get the kids home , bit precious that people dont want to stay and clap after clapping the whole game , get over it
Because he thinks the players deserve a bit of appreciation for a brilliant second half comeback?

S

Slightly exaggeration.
50% full at the Eithad I reckon.
(still a bit crap obviously)

Sadly we were the only section of the stadium the players didn't make it to. Colin Bell Stand corner (section 121) near the away supporters.

Nevermind the kids, my wife and I stayed and cheered them all the same. Erling last player off clapping all corners. What a signing...

121?

Do you mean 111 near the away fans
