And it’s the only ‘entertainment industry’ that has people leave 15 minutes before the end.
Scrutinise awayI’m not sure that statement stands up to much scrutiny.
As regards Kyle Walker, purely by chance I met some match guests of his on the train home later that evening, who’d been in the Tunnel Club on Saturday. We were talking about the game and they mentioned that he was pissed off cos he copped for a bit of booing and general abuse both during the 1st half and as he left the field at half time. He was still upset about it after the game apparentlyAt the end of the game today, Erling Haaland lead a team-wide (bar Kyle Walker who saw his arse about something, kicked the ball at the fans in the East Stand and was throwing his arms in then air as he left pitch… fuck knows what went on there?!) sort of lap of honour to every stand in the stadium and there were barely any fucking fans left to acknowledge it.
That’s the most comprehensive applause I’ve ever seen from any player at our ground.
He, and the rest of the team, deserve better than everyone fucking off before that sort of thing!
I once left a Halle concert at what could be regarded as 'half-time'. Dreadful - Delius Mass of LIfe. Jeez,And it’s the only ‘entertainment industry’ that has people leave 15 minutes before the end. If people don’t want to see it why bother going at all? If these people didn’t buy the tickets perhaps the reduced demand would see prices go down?
