Favourite cars that were achievable by people who weren't rich

My brother had a capri JPS 2.0 back in the olden days.
A thing of great beauty but apparently a bit of a handling pig.
He moved on to an MG bgt, then had a mini 1275 gt that was bored out to 1.6. That was fast...

Still love them

On the waiting list for a Toyota GR86 but no idea if i'll actually get the email invite to buy...

They sold the supposed UK allocation (450 cars) in 90 minutes last year but they are currently inviting people on the waiting list to order additional cars /cancelled orders. No idea how many cars there are and no idea where I am on the waiting list...

Regardless SWMBO needs to be convinced if I do get the chance to order one as she thinks I'm too old for one at 59 :-(

I had one of these new in 1991.. A Pewter Grey Honda CRX.. Brilliant car that I bought duty free when I was based in Cyprus. I only sold it because we had a toddler and the back seat was't ideal
