I might crack open a nice jar of Pataks Korma and have it with som basmati rice and a couple of Greek pitas later.

Butter chicken is OK mate, it's an authentic curry eaten in India, korma isn't. Korma was dreamt up to appease non spice Brits and soft arse fannies, like you; )

I put soy sauce on both anyway.

My wife makes the best curry, not much oil loads of different spices, fresh coriander at the end and makes bread out of yoghurt and flour. Better than any shop one we get.

Korma is authentic. It’s a really old traditional curry where the meat is stewed in yoghurt or meat stock.

No doubt it’s very different in India to what we get dished up over here.

Yes you're right. I know tikka masala and balti dishes are made up dishes british curry dishes, I thought korma was too. It's still horrible though and looks like baby shit.
