Fernandinho (continued)

Any reason why he was on the bench today??

Slight thigh strain according to Stuart Brennan.

Guy needed a rest anyway. Have him back fit for Spurs in a fortnight.

Re: Fernandinho

he'll get a rest against West Ham as well. And hopefully he against Watford too. We need him fresh for Spurs away and the more important games after that.

Re: Fernandinho

The guy deserves a bit of a break. Maybe a half against Watford but definitely not against west ham.

Re: Fernandinho

If Rodwell is really fit this week, Fernandinho should be on holiday now till Spurs away. Some others should join him, especially if Jovetic is also fit. :)

This is a chance for some of City's key players to have a mini-winter break.

I believe it's quite nice near the Pyramids atm

Definitely, for the West Ham game:
---------------------Pants------------------------
Richards-Lescott-Nastasic--Clichy
-------------Garcia---Rodwell-----------------
--Milner----------Jovetic---------Lopes
------------------Dzeko----------------------
And keep a similar team with maybe Demichelis/Kompany coming at CB, Yaya/Fern for 45 and some minutes for Navas/Negredo/Aguero against Watford. Hopefully our first choice players can be back to full strength for the two big games against Spurs and Chelsea. If we get 6 points from those two, it would put us in a great position heading into the final stretch in the title race.

If we get six points from those two no-one will stop us, we'll see it through.

Agreed.
No need for Ferna, Silva, Komps or Yaya to play at all in the next two.

Vs West Ham:

Pants
Richards Nasty Lescott Clichy
Navas Garcia Milner Lopes
Dzeko Negredo

Hart, Zabba, Demichelis, Huws, Fofana, Jovetic, Aguero

Vs Watford:

Pants
Richards Demichelis Lescott Clichy
Garcia Rodwell
Lopes Jovetic Milner
Dzeko

Hart, Nastasic, Kolarov, Yaya, Negredo, Aguero, Navas

Great game from fernandinho, the forward run for the jovetic goal was class. MOTM for me.
