Brazilian Fernandinho looks to be on the verge of a move to City after reports he is undergoing a medical in Manchester this afternoon.

The Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder has been a long-term target for the Blues, and his signing would come hot on the heels of that of £23m winger Jesus Navas from Sevilla.

City are expected to announce the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini as their new manager in the next few days.
