Prefer Balotelli. Torres is like Owen in that they both have there own personalised physio beds.

Balotelli did not impress me. I saw him play a number of times at the San Siro when I worked in Milan. A big risk imho, especially at the kind of ding that is being mooted.

i disagree, i really like the look of balotelli and is defiantly the next drogba

Didn`t Sven say the same thing about Big Phil?

If Torres decides to stay where he is, what will he have based his decsion on? Either the Champs League doesn't mean as much to him as the media suppose or he thinks the Dippers will only be missing out on the competition as a one off, one season deal and will be assembling a squad capable of restoring their top four status within a season. Considering Spurs and City have superior teams and AVFC are knocking on the door, I don't see the Dippers getting anywhere near Champs League qualification without spending a shit load of dosh that they simply don't have. They could be out of the top four for good.

looking like i was right he will stay at pool

80's shorts" i will get my blue peter badge ;)

He will be here next season. Trust me. Sorry I cant be arsed posting an eighties pop utube clip. Not my style. We havnt pulled out at all, although the injury has obviously put a spanner in the works. Why do you think they have said today that he is not for sale? It is predictable after the injury. It helps both parties. I still believe he will be here for the start of the season if we can get the necessary caveats written into the agreement, post injury. If not then he will be here come January.

This is a "laughing stock" accident waiting to happen. If we pay mega money for someone we knew to be a crock, we will look extremely stupid and everyone will be on our backs. We need to be pretty sure that we're going to get a certain number of games out of the lad and that last season was more the exception than the rule in terms of injuries. I'd like to know what his injury record was like before he joined the Dippers but I don't know where to look for that info.

Anyway, no more bloody RSC white elephant transfer deals, please. Leave that bollocks to Mark Hughes.

Obviously, the injury needs to be assessed. It is a new situation. However, for people to say that we have withdrawn our interest because of this is simply ridiculous. Both parties are taking stock of the situation. Liverpool simply cannot afford, IN ANY RESPECT, for the value of their prize asset to deteriorate. They cannot afford for him to fail a medical at city or any club. If there is the slightest chance of this happening then they will delay his transfer until January. This isnt difficult.
