& i dont want you to post youtube clips it pisses me off ha.
still think he will stay at pool

Obviously, the injury needs to be assessed. It is a new situation. However, for people to say that we have withdrawn our interest because of this is simply ridiculous. Both parties are taking stock of the situation. Liverpool simply cannot afford, IN ANY RESPECT, for the value of their prize asset to deteriorate. They cannot afford for him to fail a medical at city or any club. If there is the slightest chance of this happening then they will delay his transfer until January. This isnt difficult.

I see what you are saying. If it is true what u belive then it must be a delicate situation. City want to buy and Liverpool need to sell and both must have their own agendas in regards to fans, media etc etc. The injury complicates it all. Stevie Lomas this morning on the radio thinks we are going to sign him. All very interesting.

Its not what I believe, Its what I have been told mate. Doesnt surprise me that ex city players are now saying they think we will sign him. This is happening. I think some people just dont get that we are now THE MOST INFLUENCIAL CLUB ON THE PLANET. Champions League or not. We will sign Torres now if we can get the caveats written in. If not, then January. If not January then he will be forever a Liverpool player because a serious flaw has been identified (in his physiology). For all our owners wealth he does not throw away 49Million on a whim.

He will only go to Chelsea according to spanish newspaper AS.

Does anyone get the feeling Torres could be in Dubai/Abu Dhabi on holiday, getting the pants charmed off him being visited by royalty?

I observed roy hodgson, when interviewed about torres, was extremely careful, deliberate imo,not to reveal his current location.

That's what triggered my imagination.
But I thought someone mentioned something similar when the Torres rumours were at fever pitch.

I've just been listening to an excerpt from the Hodgson interview. Why did he say he was obliged to leave the meeting? He doesn't sound happy.

It was a clip on the radio but I bet it will be lying around in cyber space somewhere. Will have a look. TBH, I'm not sure why more is not being made of it because he sounded very negative.

Here is something from a Liverpool. I wonder if the mood is turning a bit ugly.

A bit damningwhen a meeting with your best player to talk him into staying is less important than a training camp. Way to make a person feel valued, Roy..
