Disappointed as I had high hopes for Torres, I think he will rip La Liga up. In his short career at City he has shown glimpses of what he can do and I think in time he would have been a success at City. However, putting myself in Ferran's shoes as soon as Barca showed an interest he was immediately attracted and he has found it difficult to turn down a chance to return home

Be disappointing if Torres is not replaced with a natural striker this Jan. Would be odd to weaken the squad halfway through the season

Liked him and thought he could become a really good player (reminds me of my thoughts on Sane). But if he wants to leave fine, good luck to him at Barca.

The notion that his release clause starts in January has been pretty much confirmed as pure fantasy, the so called evidence out of madrid, turned out to be the pure horseshit most expected it to be.
