Have you been in a coma for 2 years? Sterling has played pretty much every game on the left.

Bernardo and Mahrez are left footed and are more than capable of playing on the left.

Foden can play anywhere across the midfield or out wide.

All of our midfield/forwards are interchangeable at any time in any match.

Edit: Torres May well be being bought to play on the left. Inverted wingers have been en vogue for the top teams for over 10 years.

Robben. Ribery. Messi. Pedro. Henry. Mane. Salah. Sterling. Mahrez. Mbappe. Neymar. Griezmann.

If he is being bought to be used on the left side, then it’s shrewd as Sterling will get the important game time and Torres will learn his trade with sub appearances and cups etc. He’s 20.

What's the difference really if we get a left winger or Torres?
LW on the left and Sterling on the right = Mahrez and Bernnardo (maybe Phil) have to sit out.
Torres on the right and Sterling on the left = Same players sit out.

Lots of games. Sterling, Phil, Jesus and Torres can all play on the left.
Torres is the only one who can replicate Sane with good crosses from a wide area.
 
Not seen much of this guy but he doesn’t seem like he’s very similar to Sane, more similar to mahrez/Bernardo than anything. We do not need another technical winger that lacks pace and cuts inside. We need Pace, the ability to run past players, make off the ball runs in behind the defence and Be capable of going down the outside without having to cut back inside to their stronger foot. If we don’t bring in lightning pace upfront we will regret the decision as much as we regretted not replacing Kompany this season

he is pace, directness. more sane than mahrez/bernardo.
 
I’d rather sign Grealish tbh. Seems more versatile, probably suits the league better and he’s English. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I think he’d do well for us.

Grealish would be useless for us. He would go from being the most fouled player in the league to the least fouled as the City handicap system is applied by the referees.

Grealish would literally kill City!

We play a coordinated possession game. He is a Mr Big Dribbler in a one player team. While he may have some qualities, they’re not the qualities that fit into this team. I’d rather have someone like Son than Grealish any day of the week. He’s got pace, can finish, can play a pass, and works his socks off.
